Tigers’ big-ticket signings: The Tigers signed Venezuelan shortstops Javier Osorio ($2.2 million) and Samuel Gil ($1.2 million), both of whom were consensus top-25 prospects. Gil put in a full season at Class A Lakeland in 2024.
