HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) - Police in Hartford are investigating two separate shootings and a homicide Saturday evening. Hartford police say the first homicide of the new year happened at the Travel Inn Motel on Weston Street. Late Saturday morning they found 79-year-old Vincent Hokim dead.

A reported shooting on Interstate 91 in Hartford left one person injured over the weekend. Troopers responded to I-91 near the exit 27 on ramp for a reported shooting on Saturday around 10 p.m. According to state police,

Hartford police said officers are investigating a shooting in the area of Broad and Russ streets that left a person injured on Saturday evening.

Hartford police are investigating a Saturday afternoon homicide. Police say the killing occurred at 100 Weston Street. No other details were released, but Channel 3 had a crew at the scene. The crew noticed that police were focusing a lot of attention on the parking lot outside the Travel Inn Motel and a Black Nissan.
