Tennessee state authorities are investigating the company behind a plastics factory where 11 workers were swept away in Hurricane Helene floodwaters. Two died, and five are still missing.

Surviving employees alleged Impact Plastics told them to be at work and released them too late to escape floodwaters; the company has said it did not threaten to fire anyone.

At least two women who worked at the plant died and at least three are missing. Employees allege they weren't allowed to leave as floodwaters rose.
