After the loss, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was asked by reporters to comment on the incident involving Curry and Green. Kerr described Curry as a "coaching presence" on the bench before the game amid the former MVP's injury, and this was exactly the type of role Curry played in Game 2.

NBA on TNT analyst Charles Barkley also could not help but call Green out for his behavior. Barkley pointed out that Curry had already gone out of his way to try and deescalate the situation, which didn't do much in terms of Green calming down.

The Golden State Warriors stole Game 1 on the road against the Minnesota Timberwolves in their second-round playoff series, even without Stephen Curry for a majority of the game.
