Struggling Stoke City have appointed their third permanent manager of the season, with Mark Robins joining the club on a three-and-a-half-year contract, the Championship side announced on Wednesday.

Stoke have appointed Mark Robins as their new manager, the English Championship side announced Wednesday. Robins, previously in charge of second-tier rivals Coventry, will take over following Wednesday's trip to Burnley, where interim manager Ryan Shawcross will remain in charge of Stoke.

Stoke City confirm that Paul Nevin and James Rowberry will join the club to form new boss Mark Robins' backroom staff.
