The Philadelphia Eagles are operating like a team that needs a new tight end. That’s right, despite already having a premier talent on their roster in Dallas Goedert, who is a certified Super Bowl Champion and an effective performer in both the run and pass game,

The Eagles agreed to terms with the long snapper Hughlett, punt and kick returner Avery Williams, and past special teams contributor Patrick Johnson on one-year deals.

After his release from the Cleveland Browns, long-time long snapper Charley Hughlett has landed a one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles. Hughlett was a mainstay in Cleveland for a decade, tying offensive guard Joel Bitonio as the longest-tenured member of the team.

Philadelphia did most of its heavy-lifting last week, signing Saquon Barkley to a historic contract extension and re-signing All-Pro linebacker Zack Baun. While Baun is back, the Birds are expected to lose some of their free agents.
