Britain’s biggest supermarket chains, including Tesco, Aldi, and Lidl, have united in support of British farmers amidst a contentious dispute with the government over proposed inheritance tax changes outlined in the 2024 Budget.

Tesco and Lidl are among the retailers voicing concerns over the policy which will end the 100% exemption from inheritance tax on wealthier farms.
