First Alert Weather Day: Up to 5 more inches of snow possible
It’s a FOX19 NOW First Alert Weather Day with more snow expected to sock the Tri-State in just a few hours. A Winter Weather Advisory begins at 11 a.m. Friday and continues through 7 a.m. Saturday. The FOX19 NOW First Alert Weather Team is forecasting 2 to 4 inches of snow with up to 5 inches possible in some spots.

FIRST ALERT ACTION DAY today due to threat of significant snowfall
(KFVS) - We are issuing a First Alert Action Day for the threat of significant snowfall today. A winter storm warning is in effect for all of the Heartland through midnight tonight. Temperatures will remain around freezing until the snow begins to fall when readings will fall into the middle to upper 20s.
