Melting continues Monday as highs climb to the 50s and low 60s... 58 for Omaha. The one thing that gets in the way of warming is some cloud cover. This will be thickest to the N and NE of Omaha, but the Metro may struggle with clouds at times. Plan for low 50s to the NE and low 60s to the SW.

A weak cold front will arrive around Thursday morning and could bring some slightly cooler (but NOT bitterly cold) temps. We’re talking about highs in the upper 60’s Thursday or Friday and lows in the 40’s again for Friday morning. But rain chances look low with this front with the exception of maybe a shower or two Wednesday night.

It has been a long time since we experienced unseasonably mild weather. As a result, we expect that some of the snow and ice will be melting as the temperature will be reaching above freezing each day this week.

Scattered showers this afternoon into the evening. Temperatures will start to rise into the mid 60s to low 70s in this upcoming week.

The First Alert Weather Team regards a chilly morning with temperatures in the 30s and 40s with a patchy dense fog.

The weekend is looking mainly dry, too; if there was to be any wet weather, it likely happens late Sunday after lunch. The morning will feature a mix of sun and clouds. While potential coverage is not widespread, there could be a few scattered pockets of rain, mostly in the southern half of the state.
