Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers will declare for the 2025 NFL Draft, he announced Wednesday. Texas junior quarterback Quinn Ewers has declared for the NFL draft, ending a Longhorns career in which he led the program to a Big 12 championship and twice to the College Football Playoff but was not always embraced by a fan base eagerly waiting for Arch Manning to take over.

Ewers, who was born in Texas, began his career at Ohio State before transferring to Texas where he started for three years, threw 68 touchdowns and led the Longhorns to two CFP appearances. This past year he held off Arch Manning, who will now take his spot as the team's starting quarterback.
