Bo Nix could have been a Pro Bowler as a rookie, but he opted to pass due to a medical procedure he's set to undergo this week.

Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud declined his invite, DJ Bien-Aime of ESPN reports. Broncos quarterback Bo Nix isn’t going because of the transverse process fracture in his back that he played through at the end of the season, Mike Klis of 9News reports.

That list might have included Denver Broncos rookie Bo Nix.

Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, Justin Herbert and C.J. Stroud were all unavailable or opted out of the Pro Bowl, so Nix was next in line. After Nix opted out, Joe Burrow is now the AFC’s top QB left with Wilson and Maye added to the squad behind him.
