Infielder Gleyber Torres has agreed to terms with the Detroit Tigers on a one-year contract worth $15 million in free agency. The team announced the deal Friday morning.

On Friday, Jon Heyman of the New York Post and MLB Network reported that Torres had reached agreement with the Detroit Tigers on a free-agent contract. It's a one-year, $15 million deal, per MLB.com. Torres, who just turned 28, became an All-Star in his first two Yankees seasons, topping out with 38 homers, 90 RBI and an .872 OPS in 2019.

The New York Yankees have made two big trades this offseason and could make another with the New York Mets to replace Gleyber Torres.
