Strictly Come Dancing contestant Chris McCausland has been praised for performing a dance featuring a "poignant" blackout moment, imitating his own experience with blindness.

Chris is currently competing on the 2024 series of Strictly Come Dancing with professional Dianne Buswell, making him the first blind contestant to appear on the show. Saturday night's live show (November 2) saw the pair dance a Tango to 'Rock And Roll All Nite' by KISS, earning them an overall score of 29 from the judges.
