Chelsea coach Enzo Maresca downplayed the significance of becoming the first manager to win his first three away games in the Premier League since his former mentor Pep Guardiola achieved the same feat in 2016.

Whether or not this was enough to prompt Chelsea co-owners Behdad Eghbali and Todd Boehly to kiss and make up remains to be seen, but the pair will have enjoyed their trip to East London – even if they did have to sit next to each other.
