The tributes began pouring in following the news that legendary Brewers broadcaster Bob Uecker had died at age 90.

Bob Uecker was the voice of his hometown Milwaukee Brewers who after a short playing career earned the moniker "Mr. Baseball" and honors from the Hall of Fame.

Uecker, who was nicknamed "Mr. Baseball," came to El Paso in 1982 for an exhibition game between the minor league El Paso Diablos and the Brewers. He played an inning as catcher and did the play-by-play for the game.
