During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, ESPN's NFL insider Adam Schefter discussed Vrabel's return to the franchise and indicated that executive vice president of player personnel Eliot Wolf was going to report to Vrabel. In short, as Schefter put it, "Vrabes is the man," in New England, when McAfee asked about the front-office hierarchy.

FOXBOROUGH — Mike Vrabel won three Super Bowl rings as a player for the Patriots. None of those were on his fingers on Monday afternoon at Gillette Stadium.

It might be difficult to pry Brown away from the Eagles, but it sounds like Vrabel maintains contact with his former wideout. Brown was drafted by the Titans when Vrabel was head coach in 2019. He was traded to the Eagles for a first-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
