The 'Glee' star's ex-husband revealed that their son remembers the last word she said to him before her tragic drowning.

The ex-husband of Naya Rivera, a star of the show Glee who died in a tragic drowning saving her son’s life, has revealed her final words. Rivera died in July of 2020, drowning in Lake Piru, California. She was just 33 years old at the time of her death.

Naya had taken her then-4-year-old son, Josey, on the boat trip in Lake Piru, California, but drowned when she was unable to get back onto the boat when it started to drift. The incident report on her death concluded that Naya drowned after she exhausted herself getting Josey to safety, and the little boy was found alone on the boat sometime later.
