A wrist injury that may eventually require surgery isn't the only ailment that has dogged Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill. According to Dolphins wide receivers coach Wes Welker, Hill also has an ankle injury that has caused him difficulties this season.

Miami Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill is playing at a high level, receivers coach Wes Welker said. Welker also said Hill had an ankle injury.

I have a certain standard that I want to set for my family and that standard is to never quit, never back down no matter what you’re going through in life because adversity hits us all,” Hill said.

Tyreek Hill made a couple big plays against the San Francisco 49ers, picking up a 24-yard gain and scoring a 3-yard touchdown. But his performance in the Miami Dolphins’ 29-17 win in Week 16 will be better remembered for the plays he didn’t make.
