According to a report, the Broncos viewed Harvey as the next best running back in the draft behind Ashton Jeanty.

So Denver has had to project how Harvey's receiving ability will translate to the NFL. Starting at rookie minicamp this week, the Broncos will now begin working with Harvey to fine-tune his receiving skills going into his rookie season. If he reaches the level Denver hopes he can, Harvey could end up being a workhorse in the pros.

Harvey will be known as one of the best running backs in the history of the University of Central Florida. Last season he had 232 carries for 1,577 yards and 22 touchdowns and the prior year he had 226 carries for 1,416 yards along with 16 scores.
