The Miami Dolphins and quarterback Quinn Ewers have agreed to a four-year rookie deal, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reported Thursday. The news means Ewers will be under contract when Dolphins rookie minicamp takes place from Friday to Sunday this weekend.

Former Texas Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers agreed to terms on his first professional contract Thursday afternoon with the Miami Dolphins. Ewers agreed to a standard four-year pact. The Dolphins will own his rights through the 2028 season. Ewers and his rookie class will start minicamp, which begins on Friday and runs through Sunday.

On the eve of their weekend minicamp, the Miami Dolphins have begun the process of working out contracts for their 2025 draft picks. The team agreed to terms Thursday with quarterback Quinn Ewers, the seventh-round selection out of the University of Texas.
