Kansas football coach Lance Leipold wore a blue “All-Time Rushing Leader Real Deal Devin Neal” T-shirt to his postgame news conference after the Jayhawks’ 45-36 victory over Iowa State on Saturday at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

Devin Neal rushed for a 13-yard touchdown that gave the Kansas Jayhawks a 14-7 lead over the Iowa State Cyclones.

Jalon Daniels was 12-of-24 passing for 295 yards and two touchdowns and Devin Neal added two rushing touchdowns as Kansas defeated No. 17 Iowa State on 45-36 Saturday in Kansas

“The one thing this team hasn’t done is waver,” quarterback Jalon Daniels said. “I feel like we haven’t stopped going about things the way that we go about them, and I feel like that allowed (us) to be able to keep pushing, no matter what happened. We’re going to keep on pushing as a team.”

Kansas football is going up against Iowa State on Saturday, and during the game KU running back Devin Neal set the program’s all-time rushing record.
