More drone sightings have been reported in the Northeast after the Federal Aviation Administration lifted its temporary flight restrictions following thousands of reported drone sightings late last year.

The unexplained, SUV-sized drones that caused a stir flying over the areas in the Northeast in November and December have returned. As of Sunday, Jan. 25.

The FAA imposed temporary flight restrictions from December to Jan. 19, when drone sightings began to once again increase from Connecticut to New Jersey, according to NBC. NBC reported that U.S. Sen. Chuck Schumer confirmed the return of the drones on Sunday, saying, “We have now seen new drone sightings. We’re going to have to look into it.”
