Austin firefighters responded to 9800 North Lamar Boulevard around 6:30 a.m. Sunday. Callers reported smoke coming from a large building that was later determined to be an abandoned bank. No injuries were reported.

Firefighters responded to a fire at an abandoned bank in north Austin early Sunday morning. Austin Fire Department said a caller reported “smoke coming from a large white building.” Crews found a large fire inside the building at 9810 North Lamar Blvd.
