Mid week visit and there was hardly anyone around. No cost to enter. The parks were clean and well kept. The marina near the dam was very nice. The scenery was amazing! Highly recommended! Full review by snickerdoodle205

Very nice. In winter so not much going on. People not picking up dog waste and some with dogs off leash. This was mainly at the campground. Full review by X8832AMbt
Is the water visible from any campsites? Any recommendations for picking a site? We have a truck camper, so not too long but would like some shade and ability to use our awning over the picnic table.

Can alcohol be consumed quietly and in private at campgrounds?

I think so. We had wine with us in the cabin but we we there after Xmas so not out. I think if you are discreet and not drunk you would have no problems.

I wish I could find a private owner that would like to make some extra money and just let me rent their houseboat out for a few days to relax and forget the city from where I live.
